Our debut album “September Soul” is a collection of twelve original songs blending Middle Eastern, Spanish, Latin and American musical influences featuring multi-instrumentalist and composer Yuecel Karabulut, guitarist Daniel Yárritu, and Latin percussionist Willie Garza.

El Vasco was born in Danny's studio in a single recording session. Our intention was actually to warm up before recording a new song. We just pressed the "record" button and recorded El Vasco without knowing what we record.

Daniel Yárritu is a classically trained guitarist, instructor and veteran of the San Francisco Bay Area world music scene, bringing guitar music to stages all over the Bay area and abroad. He studied guitar with James Robinson, Bahraam Behroozi, Pepe Haro and many others and spent more than a decade playing guitar in the James Robinson Group. He also currently performs with Trio Florencio, a group that blends Latin jazz, bossa nova and guitar based world music.
Daniel Yarritu plays Nicola nylon and steel strings.
Yuecel (Yücel) is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and composer, greatly inspired by the unique sounds of the multi-cultural influences of California, Germany, Turkey, India, and Cuba- places where he has lived and traveled. Yuecel has performed with many great musicians: Favored Nations recording artist and phenomenal guitarist James Robinson, the James Robinson Group, Luis Carranza, Tom Bartolero, Peyman Vessal, and Bettina Schmuck. Yuecel wrote, directed, and acted in the musical theatre "My sad soul in July".
Willie Garza is a multi-instrumentalist, educator and clinician specializing in Afro-Latin percussion. Willie has performed and recorded with international artists and many local artists and groups in California such as Favored Nations recording artist James Robinson, Charanga Nueve, The Saul Kaye Band, Kaweh, Gypsy Tribe, Latin Lingo, Marc Russo and the Classy Cats, Full Spectrum, Mambo Tropical, Caixa, Silicon Vibe, Fito Reinoso, Piano y Son, San Jose State Latin Jazz Ensemble, KIDGUCH, Buckle Bros, Audio Dub, Latin Funk Express, White Roses, JT Horns.
